Hey there,
My name is Dimitri and I recently started a two man team with a good friend of mine.
Our goal is to make a horror game with RPG-Maker MV.
I will be responsible for the PixelArt,Art, and composing.
Now, back in my days I used to draw a lot, some things stuck with me and others didn't. This won't really matter though, I am going to treat myself as someone who has never touched Art before.
This Blog is here to record my progress and to give me a reason to keep learning. I love sharing and expressing my thoughts. I see this as a method to get feedback from people, too.
To give you an Idea of where I am going with this; There is plenty of source distributed, right and left, to learn everything you need to make something good. The problem that a lot of people encounter, and keep encountering when they first start, is that they don't know where to start, including me. So I picked up a topic, Character Sprites, to start with and will further expand on other topics such as PixelArt in General, Music, Art as in drawing, and much more.
I will update once or twice a week, since I prefer Quality over Quantity.
Let's do our best !
Note: Everything will be done through Photoshop, since this is the Program of my preference. It's an expensive program and not everyone can afford it. A good alternative is Gimp, so don't be demotivated. There are some differences but with a bit of tinker you will be able to follow along.
